Introduction
One of the most remarkable achievements of the Harappan Civilisation was the development of a highly standardized system of seals, writing and weights. These played a vital role in administration, trade, craft production and long-distance commerce. Although the Harappan script remains undeciphered, archaeologists have learned much from these objects.
